To get to beautiful Sardinia by sea, the Genoa – Porto Torres ferries are an excellent solution. Departing by ship from Italy’s largest port is certainly advantageous, as well as comfortable. In the Mediterranean Sea, that of Genoa manages to compete in size and efficiency with that of Barcelona and Marseille. Its strategic location makes it possible to reach most of the western European routes. Although with COVID-19 the Ligurian port suffered a blow, around 1.5 million passengers still transited there.

With Traghetti Sardegna offer, you can book your Genoa – Porto Torres ferry route with the carriers Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV) and Tirrenia. The journey with GNV lasts 12 hours and 30 minutes, while with Tirrenia 9 hours and 30 minutes during the day and from 10 to 12 hours and 15 minutes at night. You can travel from Liguria to Sardinia all year round, in fact at least one of the two companies guarantees routes all 12 months of the year.

On both ferries you can find excellent services. In particular on GNV there is halal multi-ethnic cuisine or vegan menus. Both vessels have a cinema on board as well as access to the many decks from which you can enjoy fantastic views. Discos, amusement arcades for young and old, bars, a lounge and numerous boutiques help to ensure that travellers are never bored.
