How to get to the port of Cagliari

Car

Take the SS131 (Carlo Felice) and follow the signs for Cagliari Centro and then continue to Centro-Porto. You can also reach the port via the SS125, reaching the Quartu Sant’Elena seafront and Via Roma, right in front of the port.

If you do not need to take your vehicle, the port’s car parks are located in the city centre and are chargeable. They are divided into two areas called ‘Porto Storico’ and ‘Porto Canale’. They are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If your point of departure is the airport, be aware that it is about 30 minutes from the port. For this reason, the advice is to take a taxi immediately once you land on Sardinian soil or wait for the train at the station next to the airport.

Bus
